Get to know Semitonía

WELCOME to the “Semitonía” International Early Music Course and Festival in Cuenca, taking place from July 5th to July 10th, 2026.

We present this Course alongside the International Early Music Festival of Cuenca, which offers the unique opportunity to extend classroom learning into live performances. Various venues throughout the city of Cuenca—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—become true extensions of the classrooms themselves.

The Course features a faculty of world-renowned prestige, with members teaching at leading international institutions. These professionals balance their academic expertise with careers on the world’s most prominent stages and festivals.

Alongside them, the Academy of Camerata Ars Summa serves as the educational coordinator and host for all active students, auditors, and the general public attending the Festival’s concerts.

We welcome you with open arms and remain dedicated to providing all our resources—both musical and human—for this exceptional event. Here, artistic education, high-level musical performance, and cultural tourism come together in a historic World Heritage city.
